PROJECTS AND INITIATIVES CARRIED OUT



- “LA GRANDE MUSICA NEI LUOGHI D’ARTE”, 6 seasons (1987-1992): a concerts series that hosted soloists and ensembles of great renown at the most fascinating villas of the Verona area. Promoting Institution: Cultural Department of the Province of Verona.


- “ARTIS MASTER CLASSES - Meeting the great masters”, 5 successive years (1988-1992) of annual master classes for performers. Promoting Institutions: Cultural Departments of the City Council and of the Province of Verona.


- “GARDAMUSIC”, 2 editions (1990-1992): hosted in places of the Garda Lake, this concert season aimed at the best union between natural or historical heritage and high quality performances. Promoting Institutions: Garda Community and the Cultural Departments of the Provinces of Verona, Trento and Mantua.


- “DAI CORTILI DI VERONA VERSO L’EUROPA - musical itineraries in early summer” (1990-1992): 3 seasons of concerts which led to perform in the most fascinating yards and gardens of the historical centre of Verona the ensembles and soloists who distinguished themselves the most in the framework of the “Artis Master Classes”. Promoting Institution: Cultural Department of the City Council of Verona.


- “MANTUA MUSIC FESTIVAL” (1990), eight concerts of very high level, with protagonists such as Rostropovich, the London Symphony Orchestra, Astor Piazzolla, etc. Promoting Institution: Cultural Department of the Province of Mantua.


- “ANTICHI ORGANI DEL GARDA” (1992), international organ festival including seven concerts with some of the most well known organists in Europe, aimed at the promotion of historical instruments recently restored. Promoting Institution: Cultural Department of the Province of Verona.


- “SOAVE CITTA’ STORICA”, 2 seasons (1994-1995): an initiative focusing on the artistic and historical heritage of a medieval town. The project, consisting of a variety of events all the year round (an international concert season in Spring, a historical re-enactment and a theatre festival in Summer), proposed famous artists of the world of music (such as Gustav Leonhardt, I Madrigalisti di Venezia) and theatre (Paola Quattrini, Pambieri e Tanzi, Ugo Pagliai e Paola Gassman, etc.). Promoting Institution: the Town Council of Soave.


- “MILLE E UNA DI QUESTE NOTTI”, 1996-1997 season, a multi-disciplinary project (from music to theatre, to street arts performances), with the intervention of famous singers and popular storytellers. Promoting Institution: the City Council of Mantua.


- “NOTTI NEI GIARDINI D’EUROPA”, 6 seasons (1991-1992 and 1996-1999 periods). Music and Theatre Summer Season promoting every year an average of 60 events hosted by 40 Municipalities of the territory of Verona, involving artistic realities of an international level. Among them: National Philharmonic Orchestra of Romania (Arad), Giuliano Carmignola, Giulio Bosetti’s Company, Giulio Brogi and Paola Tedesco, Eugenio Bennato, Peppe Barra, Maria Carta, Sofia Chamber Orchestra (Bulgaria), Alan Kogosowski, Giorgio Al-bertazzi, Flavio Bucci, Toquinho. Promoting Institution: Cultural Department of the Province of Verona together with the involved Town Councils.


- “GLI INCANTESIMI DI BACCO - Bacchus’ enchantments”, 2000 edition: a season of performances, art and gastronomy conceived within the context of a wide ranging project reappraising the culture and potential for tourism of the Lake of Garda hinterland, an initiative that offered the opportunity to get to know an area of great interest for its artistic heritage and for its typical gastronomic products. Eight events of an international level alternating between dance performances and concerts. Promoting Institutions: the Town Council of Soave and the Cultural Department of the Province of Verona.


- “G. ZINETTI” INTERNATIONAL CHAMBER MUSIC COMPETITION, Sanguinetto (Verona), 12 editions (1998-2009): conception, planning and operational coordination of the international contest. Promoting Institutions: the Cultural Departments of the Town Council of Sanguinetto and of the Province of Verona.


- I TESORI “SCONOSCIUTI” - Unknown Treasures, 13 seasons (1997-2002): initiative aimed at enhancing places of environmental and historical value in the territory of Verona, illustrated by scholars and experts by means of guided tours. Promoting Institution: the Heritage Department of the Province of Verona.


- I TESORI DEL BALDO E DELLA LESSINIA, 8 editions (2002-2009): initiative for the promotion of the environmental heritage, the culture, the traditions and the flavours of the Mountains in the territory of Verona. Every year 10 all-day-long guided tours, over 80 partners coordinated in the project (from local authorities to handicraft and foodstuff producers). Promoting Institutions: the Heritage and the Mountain Policy Departments of the Province of Verona.

- PROGETTO “VILLA DIONISI” (anni 2002-2009), iniziativa di valorizzazione della Villa Veneta di Cerea, attraverso la costituzione della Fondazione Aldo Morelato (di cui è membro del Comitato Scientifico), e la gestione del progetto “IL MOBILE SIGNIFICANTE” (6 edizioni), che comprende la realizzazione di un “Concorso Internazione sull’arte applicate nel mobile” e di seminari denominati “Giornate Internazionali a Villa Dionisi” con personalità di livello internazionale (come François Burkhardt, già direttore del Centre Pompidou di Parigi, Vittorio Fagone della New York University, ecc.).



- FIERA “ARTE&GUSTO” (2003), consulenza al Comune di Cerea per la realizzazione dell’esposizione realizzata come intervento di marketing territoriale attraverso la promozione delle ricchezze della pianura veronese (il mobile e i sapori, con il coinvolgimento di Slow Food).



- “ZINETTI COMPETITION FESTIVAL - LA GRANDE MUSICA NEI LUOGHI D’ARTE/2”, 5 edizioni (anni 2005-09); ripresa della rassegna (sospesa nel 1992) ospitata nelle più suggestive ville e pievi del Veronese; questa volta i protagonisti sono gli ensemble vincitori del Concorso Zinetti. Ente promotore: Ass.to alla Cultura della Provincia di Verona e Fondazione Salieri.



- “L’ESTATE DI SAN LEONARDO E SAN MARTINO” (2008): incarico del Comune di Nogarole Rocca di coordinamento della manifestazione, un contenitore di spettacolo, sport e gastronomia di qualità.
