STUDIES. He took a Conservatory Diploma in Verona, so he belongs to the world of arts, but in the same time he also attended scientific studies, so he learnt to have a painstaking approach to the managerial topics. After a few-years period of teaching as Professor in some Italian Conservatories, his professional activity soon moved to the cultural management. He filled different positions: he was deputy chairman in the Venetian Concert Artists Cooperative; and then he was appointed Chairman of the Artis Cultural Association. After these important experiences he started carrying out his freelance consultancy activity. In order to widen his horizons to a European dimension, in 1994-1995 he attended a master promoted by the Council of Europe and the UNESCO called “European Diploma in Cultural Project Management”. During the master he specialized in subjects such as the European Union regulations for tourism and the “sustainable tourism management”. Thanks to this experience he becomes Member of Oracle, a network based in Brussels, open to the arts managers that took part in the course (since 1989 more than 200 people coming from all Europe, only 5 from Italy) in order to foster the international cooperation. From 1996 to 1998 he attended a two-year Course in Economics and Business Administration (CEGA) organized by the Master Department of the “Bocconi” University School of Management in Milan.
